Our London shop’s 2013 New Year Sale has started, offering great reductions for personal shoppers on some of our most popular pieces, as well as some items we do not sell online, such as the blouse pictured below.

A Summer of Bargains!

Have you looked at our Last Chance to Buy sale? In it you”ll find some stunning corsets, prom and eveing gowns and lingerie. Many are one-off items, so they really are last chance to buy and you can get them at a greatly reduced price. We need the space for our new collections.

The party season is now well and truly upon us, and here at the Lulu and Lush boutique we’re all fretting about what to wear to our Christmas party next week. Fortunately, the lovely Sam who is the elusive but genius mastermind behind FairyGothMother and the Lulu and Lush brand, has calmed our panic by ensuring that we have an enormous section of the shop brimming with fantastic party dresses. I mean, what else are Fairy Goth Mothers for?

Flocked Pencil Dresses As well as sequins and leather, we’re totally loving festive flocking this week. Give the classic LBD a twist with flocked black leopard print, or stand out in pink! The pink Sarah and black Zara pencil dresses show off every curve, whilst the halter ties emphasise the bust. The dresses are made of cotton which has a little stretch to it, but don’t worry – there’s a split at the back so you can still walk and sit down. Sculpt your silhouette under a tight dress with Kiss Me Deadly‘s Vargas girdle, matched with Little Minx‘s gathered tulle Bombshell bra which has rather useful multi-way straps, and cleavage-boosting padding.

Tulle Fairy Dresses for Every Budget Whether your budget is huge or you’d rather spend your pennies on celebrating, we have the perfect party dress for you. The huge netted petticoats show off tiny waists, whilst covering up the bum and thighs so you can eat as many mince pies as you like! At only £50, the black and red Nutcracker dress features black flocking on the tulle skirt, and a pretty corsage at the waist, whilst at the other end of the budget at £199, the Sparkle dress will instantly turn you into a Christmas fairy with its tulle petticoat and dazzling stars.

Don’t Forget Accessories!

Of course, you’ll need those extra bits and pieces to finish off your outfit! There’s no point dressing up in a full-skirted prom dress if your coat won’t fit over it, so save yourself from freezing to death on your journey with our tailored frock coat. In black velvet with flock detailing, the coat nips in at the waist and flares out over even the fullest skirt. Match your accessories with your lingerie with our black tie-side satin knickers and satin opera gloves, and keep out the winter chill with our long-sleeved stretch shrug.

We are back from the Goodwood Revival Festival (more about that soon!) and have been busy decorating and settling in to our brand new studio and office, which we’re still really excited about so you’ll probably be sick of hearing about it soon! We’re staying at our Old Spitalfields Market boutique so you don’t need to update your address books, but this does mean that suddenly we have lots more space.

We’re quite liking suddenly being able to see the floor in our stock room, and so we’re re-launching our superduper clearance sale offering massive discounts (as in, less than half price on lots of items!) on hundreds of dresses, skirts, corsets, lingerie sets and accessories… We can’t resist buying pretty things though, so are planning to promptly re-fill the space with new collections for winter! We’ll have all our new goodies up on the website and in our shop soon – our current obsessions are sequins and the Fifties, so our designers are hard at work creating corsets and lingerie covered in sparkly goodness and dresses with foofy petticoats which wouldn’t look out of place on the set of Grease.

Our stock room is a treasure trove of corsetry, lingerie and fabulous ballgowns, some of which date all the way back from our more gothic Camden Market days (gosh, remember them?!) as well as a whole host of amazing one-offs. So do take a peek, and grab yourself a bargain!

Our dramatic, shimmering, dark red and black shot taffeta corset comfortably reduces the waist by up to 4″. Steel boned with a modesty panel and back lacing, the corset is trimmed in cream lace with matching burgundy velvet ribbon running through it. Formerly £155, it is now only £60! How stunning is this coat! Another fantastic creation by Catwalk Collection, this special occasion jacket is made from a beautiful stretch fabric with faux fur collar and cuffs, and is available in blue. Formerly £420, it’s reduced by a massive £200! Search for items £150 and above
