Do I need to book an appointment to try on wedding dresses?
Yes - our store is by appointment only.
How long does a wedding dress appointment usually last?
We normally allow about an hour for trying on wedding dresses.
How many guests should I bring with me?
Most brides find that it is quite helpful to bring a friend or family member to their viewing and we are happy to accommodate up to 3 guests.
*Please limit this to three guests as we do not have seating or space for more. Too many guests may not be helpful to you as they will inevitably have too many views of their own on what, in the end, is your choice!
Do I need to bring anything with me to my appointment?
For the best experience, we recommend wearing the lingerie you plan to wear on the big day—different bras can change the fit of your dress, and alterations can get pricey! Comfy nude or pale undies are always a good choice.
Bring shoes with the heel height you’re planning to rock, even if they’re not the exact pair. Feel free to bring your own accessories, but don’t worry—we’ve got plenty of styles for you to try on in-store too.
A quick heads-up: If you’ve had a spray tan within two weeks of your appointment or fittings, it’s best to reschedule. Tans can mark the dresses, and unfortunately, we’d have to charge for any damage caused.
Lastly, we just ask that you keep makeup light so we can keep the dresses looking fab for everyone!

Our gorgeous gowns start at £495 and go up to £2800, while you can snag some fab sample sale dresses for as little as £350!

Is everything on the website available in store?
Not everything on our website is always available in-store. If there's a particular item you're interested in, please get in touch with us before your visit. We have limited stock and can’t guarantee that an item will be available to view unless an appointment has been arranged specifically for it.
We also don’t have every style in every size, so it’s super helpful if you let us know the styles you’re keen to try on. Sometimes, dresses are lent to magazines for photoshoots or sold off the peg to a last-minute bride. Letting us know your choices in advance means we can check availability and make sure everything’s ready for you when you arrive. Plus, it gives you more time to enjoy trying on dresses in-store!
How far in advance should I order my wedding dress?
Dresses typically take about 6-9 months to arrive after you place your order, depending on the designer. We recommend starting your search a few months before that to give yourself plenty of time for fittings. Shopping early means more time to enjoy the process and find your perfect dress without any rush!
Do you offer an alteration service?
We do not employ a seamstress directly however we work with some amazing talented local seamstresses that we can refer you to. You are under no obligation to use any of these services.
What happens if you don’t have an appointment on the day I would like to book?
We recommend calling, or emailing, the store to be added to their cancellation list for your chosen day. If an appointment becomes free, a team member will contact you to offer you the appointment.

What size are your samples?
We’ve stock dresses in sizes 10-28, so everyone can find their perfect fit! While we might not have every dress in every size, we’ve got plenty of tricks up our sleeve to help you see just how amazing you’ll look in any of our styles!

Running short on time? No worries! We’ve got a lovely selection of dresses in stock that you can grab right off the rack and take home the same day. But if you’ve got your heart set on a specific style, colour, length, or finish, giving yourself a bit more time to order is the way to go for that perfect dress!
There is a particular dress that I am looking for, can you get me a sample to try on?
Some of our designers offer a loan service, subject to availability. There is usually a one-off cost for this service to cover the carriage charges and insurance, we are always happy to make enquiries with the designer for you!
What’s your cancellation policy?
Please give us a full 8 days notice of cancellation in order to get your booking fee refunded.
Will the samples fit me in store?
Part of the bridal fitting process requires us to clip the sample smaller or larger on you - even if you are measuring at the sample size it usually still requires some adjustment. Please do not expect gowns to fit you perfectly - this is a normal part of the bridal shopping experience and it is our job to help you visualise how it will fit when made for you.
What is ready-to-wear?
We carry a selection of ready-to-wear designers for shorter turnaround and more affordable options. These are dresses that we keep in (limited) stock and are able to be taken home the same day. In most cases alterations are still required to perfect the length and fit.
Can I use skype/facetime in the appointment to show important family members?
Yes. This is a lovely way to involve family or friends who are unable to be there in person.
